Arceneaux Estate Planning & Elder Law
For financial advisors & CPAs

A quiet, coordinated referral partner

Many of our clients come through a trusted financial advisor or CPA. We treat those relationships accordingly, clear scope, discreet updates, and a plan the referring professional can explain to the client.

What you can send us

  • Clients facing a nursing home admission or a Medicaid decision
  • Long-term care planning for clients in their 50s–70s
  • Estate planning for Louisiana families, wills, trusts, powers of attorney
  • Successions after a client or client's family member passes
  • Second opinions on out-of-state documents that need Louisiana review

How to refer

  1. Ask the client to request a confidential callback, or call our office at 985-205-3660.
  2. If helpful, send us a short note with the client's name and situation so Paul is briefed before the call.
  3. We coordinate directly with your office where the client authorizes it, no surprise emails, no scope creep.

How we work with advisors

Because Paul is a CPA as well as an attorney, we speak the same language on tax, cash-flow, and legacy questions. Our default is to keep the referring professional in the loop, share clean summaries in writing, and never step on the client's primary relationship.

Answers

Frequently asked questions

What kinds of clients should advisors and CPAs refer?
Clients facing a nursing home admission or Medicaid decision, clients in their 50s to 70s who need long-term care planning, families needing Louisiana wills, trusts, or powers of attorney, successions after a death, and out-of-state documents that need Louisiana review.
Will the referral affect my relationship with the client?
No. The firm keeps scope narrow, shares written summaries the referring professional can use, and does not step into the primary advisory relationship or solicit the client's other business.
How does the referral process work?
Have the client request a confidential callback or call 985-205-3660, then send a short note about the situation so Paul is briefed before the call. With the client's authorization, the firm coordinates directly with your office.
